Here is a list of administrative professional references that may be useful for you! In our field, we have the gift of serving and sharing. Click on the title below to link to their respective website. My quick summary of what each website has is listed next to it. I’ve used these websites to find answers, review articles and some have events that you can attend too!

  • Office Ninjas – A tremendous weekly newsletter that gives you a topic and additional articles that relate. I agree they are office ninjas!
  • The Effective Admin – A blog on various topics for the admin field.
  • All Things Admin – Julie Perrine is an excellent speaker! I have read and own all her books.
  • Practically Perfect PA – An excellent website that can also send you a weekly newsletter full of topics, and they have virtual workshops too!
  • Executive Secretary – Everyone loves Lucy! She is involved in getting our “jobs” a career in the world. She is based out of London and has a great workshop full of valuable information.
  • ASAP – Great place for all admins! They put on an annual ASAP Forum that is full of information, and they keep on giving!
  • ELS Forum – A place designed explicitly for Executive Assistants. They have newly launched a platform to help you get to the next level.
  • Tips for Assistants – The have a website with great information and are vocal on Facebook too.
  • The Leader Assistant – Jeremy Burrows is a hot name in the Admin field, he just recently released his book “The Leader Assistant,” has a podcast, Slack channel and is rocking it. His material is excellent, and it is incredible to see males in a female-dominated field.
  • Office Dynamics – Joan Burge, my all-time favorite! She helped me to understand that my job as an Executive Assistant is a career! I’ve been following Joan for the past five years, and she just celebrated 30 years as the founder and owner of Office Dynamics. She’s got great content from webinars, books, FaceBook Friday’s and more!
  • Eat Your Career – Chrissy Scivicque is intriguing!! She has excellent material that she shares within her Career Library for a small fee, webinars, and books (see below). She is a great speaker too!
  • IAAP – One of the organizations that help you earn your CAP (Certified Administrative Professional).
  • Executive Assistant Network – A network based out of Australia, Jonathan released a book just about two years ago, and it is great to share so many similarities even when we are in different parts of the world. He’s got a vast network of information to share!
  • Red Cape Company – Vickie Sokol Evans is a Microsoft expert! She helps you train for your MOS certificate. I’m working with her study group to earn my MOS by the end of the year! She’s a great speaker and has lots of great tips and advice!
  • Peggy Vasquez – Peggy is terrific! She is a speaker, career coach, and author. I’ve watched her on several webinars and at events. She’s lived the life of a seasoned admin and is here to be a resource for you!
  • APC – Administrative Professionals Conference, a great resource that pulls the experts together to give you the information you need.
  • Debbie Gross – A well-seasoned admin, author, and now a trainer for Office Dynamics. She has excellent experience that is wonderful to hear. It was beautiful to share my CWCA group with her as a guest trainer! She’s got advice that she is willing to share!
