As the Founder & CEO of Aspiring Admins, I am always learning (goals). This weekend, as part of a unique female entrepreneurship group that I belong to, I can learn from experts in many fields. It is my duty to ensure that what I provide to my customers, you, is the best I can as Aspiring Admins continually grows.
In such a short time, I’ve been able to soak up some great tips that I will share with you. Why? Because I believe in the content, I believe that as we grow as humans, not only do we grow in our careers but in other aspects of our life.
Let go to grow.

Come Grow with Me!
What are your goals? Can you imagine what 2025 will look like? Where were you in 2015?
Just imagine what life will be like in ten years! You must know your destination – know where you are headed. Otherwise, you won’t grow purposefully; you will only grow how the wind blows.
How do you create a path that will get you to your goal? First of all, you need to determine what is your mission, your vision, and your ultimate goal. What is it that gets you out of bed in the morning? What is it that will keep you going when all your personal needs are met?
Step back and reflect.
How do you want to live your life? How do you want to serve others, the world? What is your purpose? We all have one. Figuring it out is all about sitting down and understanding your passion. Find the drive and determination that makes you happy and can impact others. What gifts have you been given that you can share with others?
Now…let’s go on this journey to make it happen!
‘Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.’
Bill Gates
Lets Create Your BHAGs!
BHAG’s – What is that? They are… Big Hairy Audacious Goals! The 10-year goals that get you out of your comfort zone stretch your skills and move you to get out of bed in the morning! Thriving, breathing…bigger goal than yourself!
How to create a BHAG:
1. Conceptualize it > It is not just a visual goal; you have to give it meaning, purpose, understand what it is and believe in it.
2. Test it > Your goal must be a 10-year minimum goal; you need metrics to monitor how you are reaching your goal.
3. Commit to it > You need to commit to every piece of the goal, not just the end. Learn how to break it down into chunks, so you can make the next actions, create milestones, and reward yourself as you move along.
Now that you have your BHAG, you must then decide on your destination, your target. How are you going to get there? Make choices that only lead to getting you to your goals. Does it align with your goal?
Lastly, you have choices to make. You can go in several directions – opportunities arise, new ideas flourish – but do they support the ultimate goals? It’s difficult because everyone loves shiny new things! Stay the course, and make the right choice in order to achieve your goals.
As this conference continues, I will continue to blog about what I’ve learned and what information I can pass along to you!
